The Metropolitan New York Baptist Association is an approved teaching site of Davis College. Through this partnership, the MNYBA Center for Theological Studies offers quality, affordable, and accredited biblical and theological training.
Who is the Center for?
The Center is open to all evangelicals. The courses will be taught in English and serve persons from diverse ethnic and racial backgrounds. The Center will strengthen the local church by equipping men and women at a post high school level.
Students have the option of auditing the course or taking the course for credit.
Which courses are available and what degree can I earn?
The Center will offer 10 courses on the Old Testament, New Testament, the Gospels, Theology, and Ethics and Christian Worldview.
Credits earned can be applied toward a One Year Bible Certificate (30 credit hours), Associates degrees (60 credit hours) or Bachelors degrees (121 credit hours).
Students who audit the courses receive a Certificate from the Metropolitan New York Baptist Association.
How are the courses taught?
Generally two 3 credit hour courses will be offered each semester. Each course is 8 weeks.
The course uses traditional classroom methods such as lectures, discussions and examinations combined with video and online resources. The class gathers at MNYBA four times per course. In between these onsite gatherings, the student completes online study.
How much does it cost?
Each 3 hour course taken for credit is $426. For students enrolled as an auditor, the cost is $210.
Are the courses accredited?
Yes, Davis College is accredited by The Middle States Commission on Higher Education, and The Association for Biblical Higher Education.

Where will the onsite gatherings be?
The classroom sessions will be held at MNYBA, 236 West 72nd Street, New York, NY 10023 from 9 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
What is the course schedule?
The first fall course will be Introduction to the Old Testament beginning Sept. 2.
The second fall course will be Introduction to the New Testament beginning Oct. 14.
